Global Logistics and Trading (Pvt) Ltd provides the following maritime and logistics services from Colombo Port, Sri Lanka:

• Logistics — end-to-end supply chain and cargo management
• Shipping — international shipping coordination and documentation
• Freight Forwarding — customs clearance, documentation, and cargo coordination
• Ship Supply — provisions, deck stores, engine stores, and safety equipment
• Crew Handling — embarkation, disembarkation, immigration, and port logistics
• Ship Chandelling — full range of vessel consumables and provisions
• Bunkering — marine fuel supply coordination and documentation

All services are subject to separate service agreements, quotations, and applicable maritime regulations. The information on our website is for general guidance only and does not constitute a binding service offer.

All quotations provided by Global Logistics and Trading (Pvt) Ltd are subject to availability, prevailing market rates, and port conditions at the time of the vessel call. Quotations are valid for the period stated and may be revised if circumstances change materially before the service is confirmed.

We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion, particularly where compliance with applicable laws or regulations may be at risk.

Payment terms for all services are as agreed in the applicable service agreement or disbursement account. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Port disbursement accounts are due for settlement within the timeframe specified in the pro forma disbursement account
• Ship supply and chandelling invoices are due upon delivery or as agreed prior to vessel departure
• Bunkering invoices are due within the payment period agreed with the vessel operator prior to the bunkering operation
• Late payment may attract interest at the rate applicable under Sri Lankan commercial law

All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) or Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) as agreed. Any bank charges, transfer fees, or currency conversion costs are the responsibility of the client.

Clients engaging our services are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information regarding the vessel, cargo, crew, and any special requirements
• Ensuring all documents provided to us are genuine, valid, and legally compliant
• Notifying us promptly of any changes to the vessel schedule, requirements, or instructions
• Ensuring all crew members hold valid travel documents and meet Sri Lankan immigration requirements
• Settling all agreed invoices and disbursement accounts within the specified payment period

Global Logistics and Trading (Pvt) Ltd acts as a service coordinator and agent in the provision of maritime logistics services. Our liability is limited to the direct fees charged for our own services and does not extend to:

• Loss, damage, or delay caused by shipping lines, port authorities, customs departments, or other third parties
• Consequential, indirect, or special losses of any kind
• Loss or damage to cargo while in the custody of third-party carriers or handlers
• Delays caused by weather, port congestion, regulatory changes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, port closures, strikes, civil unrest, government action, pandemics, or failure of third-party systems and infrastructure.

In such circumstances we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and will work to resume services as quickly as possible.

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• Use the website in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations
• Transmit unsolicited commercial communications or spam through our contact form
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or harvest content from the website
